| Well, I finally got to see Grayson! It was wonderful! I missed him so much! I left my apartment a little after 2:30am, and made it to the check in line as they were calling last call for my flight! The flights weren't that bad, they were both pretty short. He picked me up from the airport in Jacksonville, and then we drove back to the beach condo that his parents rented for the week on Topsail Island. We spent a couple hours on the beach, and we both got fried! Finally, Grayson, his dad, his sister and I went to Camp Lejuene, NC to meet up with my family to see the fireworks for the forth. My sisters and their boyfriends had driven up to visit my dad the day before, so they were there too. The fireworks were great, except for getting covered in the ash! haha! After the fireworks, we went back to the condo, and then went for a walk on the beach. I started crying, and then finally went to bed almost 24 hours after I woke up from a 2 hour nap. Thursday was a lazy day. We didn't go out to the beach, but we mostly sat out on the balcony. We ended up taking Grayson back to his barracks around 4 Thursday afternoon. My dad was waiting there to pick me up. Grayson ended up leaving to go out into the field for training on Friday morning, and I think he'll be out there for 3 weeks. How miserable does that sound?!? He'll have a week off at the end of July. I can't wait! I've already started counting down the days (20 days) until I get to see him! More later!

Haha...I wonder how many day's it's been since I last updated. A LOT! Thats for sure! Well, here I am on the eve of the 4th. So much has happened since I last updated. So here is a little update on things:
Grayson and I are still together, and going strong! He found out over Christmas that he is going to be deployed for Iraq. He left Auburn in mid-May to start his training up in Jacksonville, NC at Camp Lejeune (i.e. where my dad works, and where I was born). I haven't seen him in a month and a half! I'm leaving in the morning to fly up there to see him and I couldn't be more excited! Grayson seems to think that his unit will be leaving for Iraq around the end of August or the beginning of September, and he's been told that they will be in Iraq for 210 days (~7 months).
My aunt had a miscarriage around Christmas this past year. It would have been her 4th child. After that, I wasn't sure that they would try again, but last week my aunt called me to tell me that she is 10 weeks along with baby number 4! She seems to think that the pregnancy is going a lot better than last time. Please keep her in your prayers!
I decided to go ahead and apply for pharmacy school...what's the worst that could happen? Them tell me no?!? So, I took the PCAT in January...didn't do so great, and retook it a couple weekends ago. I should find out my results in August. Applications are due August 31st, and will hopefully know by Christmas/GRADUATION (WAHOO!) if I'm in or not. If I didn't get in...no worries! I have a backup plan now! I officially switched my major to something that is useful. I mean seriously, what do you do with a biomedical science degree if you're not doing med school, vet school, pharmacy, etc...?!? The new major? Laboratory Technology! And I love it!!
So yeah, I'm graduating in December, and can't wait for this upcoming fall. I only wish that Grayson could be here too. I've got tickets to all the away football games, and I'm so excited about finishing up school and starting my life.
Well, thats my brief update of the past 9 months!! Hopefully I'll update this thing more often!! I doubt anyone reads...but I need to start writing again b/c I like to.

| This school year has been crazy. I'm taking Organic Chem 2, Biochem, ethics, and public speaking. I'm coaching rec cheerleading. I'm coaching another pkt anchor splash team and now i'm sick. I'm physically sick, and mentally sick of school and everything else. I'm so ready for Christmas break. I'm ready to have an entire month off from everything. Well, all that stuff isn't why I'm posting. I'm posting because I'm worried, upset, and scared. Grayson is being deployed in May. He found out on Oct 6th and told me last tuesday, Oct 10th. When he told me I was in line at the bank trying to deposit some checks. I was having problems depositing them...and then he told me...I just looked at him and said...."oh...ok..." When I drove off from the bank...with my checks still in hand, he looked at me and said "Do you not like me?!?" At that point i just started crying...and I couldn't stop for anything. I probably cried for at least an hour. Grayson ended up taking me to Walmart to walk around and get my mind off of it. But then I realized that he wouldn't be here for my Graduation...and it just made it worse. It scares me that when he gets back, I could have a real job and be living on my own somewhere. He also told me that he's going to be in the western most part of Iraq. I dont know much about the geography of Iraq, but his mom told me that most of the action right now is where he's headed. Please pray for strength for me and safety for him. It's still a while away, but with the Marine Corps, you never know...they could send them out any minute. | | |
| Yeah, I haven't updated in a while. So I'll sum up the month quickly.
The first weekend in June Grayson and I went to Birmingham for his birthday. I gave him his birthday present (2 tickets to the Dave Matthews Concert in Atlanta in August) and all he could say is "You're my favorite!" The following weekend I went home and worked a golf tourney. I made $230 in 6 hours! How awesome is that?!? The next weekend June 16- 18) Grayson left to go to AT in Arkansas. This was my first weekend in Auburn since Margaritaville (except for the weekend of finals) and that was the second to last weekend in April! Phi Tau had a band party Friday night, and Melanie came! It was great hanging out with her up at the house! Saturday I sat around all day and did NOTHING! I had my first organic chem test on the 21st, and I'm pretty sure that I made over a 100! This past weekend (June 23-25) I went home for a sorority sister's wedding. It was in Chattanooga and Leslie and Daniel came and stayed with me! I miss Leslie so much! And it was great seeing her! We went to the Tennessee Aquarium on Sunday and I ended up heading back to Auburn on Monday instead of Sunday.
I'm so ready for this weekend! Friday night I'm going to a Braves game with the Phi Tau's for one of their rush events. Saturday John Drew is having a party at his house because he's back from Iraq (for 2 weeks!)!! And the biggest thing I'm ready for is Grayson coming back! I miss him like CRAZY! We're heading to Dauphin Island when I pick him up on Saturday! I can't wait to get a break from school! Organic Chem Lab is driving me crazy!!!

haha...yesterday actually! So I was driving home from class, and I went over a railroad track, and not even 10 feet after the crossing there's a stop sign. I came to a complete stop at the sign, but the guy pulled me over and told me that he thought I was going too fast over the railroad crossing and that I needed to slow down. How was I going too fast when I was able to come to a complete stop at the stop sign?!?! ugh! stupid!

I usually drink my COKE with a straw when it's in a cup. But not out of the bottle or can.
